For the next six months I am the featured artist at Emerson Hospital in Sudbury, MA! I am ecstatic to be given this opportunity to display some of my brisk fall discoveries in this body of work. This is my first show post-graduation and I have utilized this opportunity to continue my growth and exploration as a young artist in the Greater Boston Area. I have assembled this series of cityscapes, still life’s and bright animal personalities by connecting overlapping themes of the colors I find in my day-to-day- challenges and escapades. These past several months have allowed me to map the similarities in reds, greens, turquoises and whites etc. I find in both the real and the imagined.

I want to thank Brooke Cragan for choosing me for this project, and for presenting me with the challenge of building an entire body of work (12 new pieces) in just 30 days. Painting with the pressure of a deadline and a high traffic audience to keep in mind was a fantastic motivational reminder of the road I want to take. My series will be hanging on the first and second floor atriums from TODAY (november 2nd) through April 2014 at Emerson Hospital at 490 Boston Post Road in Sudbury! If you find yourself on Route 20, stop in and take a look! Grab a business card, get in touch, commission me!
